If I paid a marijuana citation does that mean I'm convicted. No court
I did not have to go to court. Just paid the $100 fine. Does that mean I'm convicted?

Some states allow you to pay a fine and plead NOLO to avoid court... this is not a guilty plea but just saying you don't want to protest it. Depends on the details of what you actually did when you paid the fine.
Call your court clerk and they will tell you exactly how it stands legally.

I am a law enforcement officer. If you plead guilty and pay a fine, the charge should show up on your record as a conviction.
