    Regedit, msconfig
    Hi ,
    My problem is that my registery and msconfig files has been deleted by my anti virus as it was infected . So I am not able to enter it from run command . So is there any way to go to regedit n msconfig . If so it will be helpful for mw n everyone :confused:

    Reinstalling Windows would do the trick, but then you would have a new Registry file and would have to reinstall your applications. Consider droppingthat antivirus and getting a new one that doesn't do terrible mistakes like that. I like Grisoft AVG and it's free.

    I had a somewhat similar problem a few weeks ago - I was able to restart in Safe Mode and then 'turn back the clock' (so to speak) to start the computer at a prior date where it was working fine. I'm not sure if this would fix your problem or not. It's certainly less drastic than reloading Windows (which was also suggested to me).
