Commands in the Startup menu in the MSCONFIG command
Would anyone please explain to me what these commands do, plus if it's possible, what consequence is going to happen if I cancel anyone of them from the startup menu. By the way, I have a toshiba laptop with XP home edition.
Startup Item-------- Command
NDSTray ------ NDSTray.exe
AGRSMMSG ------ AGRSMMSG.EXE
Ltmoh ------ C:\Program Files\ltmoh\Ltmoh.exe
LVCOMSX ----- C:\WINDOWS\system32\LVCOMSX.EXE
Tfswctrl ----- C:\WINDOWS\system32\tfswctrl.EXE
Ctfmon ------- C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.EXE
Hkcmd ------ C:\WINDOWS\system32\hkcmd.EXE
Igfxtray ----- C:\WINDOWS\system32\igfxtray.EXE
Thanks a lot

Commands
Hi,
You can go to google.com, type in one of the commands, click on Search, and find links for answers to what each really does.
To answer all of these here, would take up quite a bit of space.
You can also uncheck any item you wish from the StartUp tab in MSCONFIG, click Apply and Ok.
When you re-boot, if you find you need that item, you can always go back and re-check it.
Best wishes,
fredg

Fred, save your Google time. As a regular user of sysinfo, I find it covers 95% (est) of the problems I come across. It is likely an aggregate of the pertentent info you may find out via individually searching through Google... ;)
