Gas or electric water heater? Do you flush, (not drain) your water heater on a regular schedule? Are all the faucets affected? Do you have "heat trap" nipples, (see image) installed on the inlets of the heater? Back to, you, Tom

    Tom:

Thank you so much.To answer your questions - Gas heater; no, I have never drained my heater. Yes, all the faucets are affected. I don't know about heat traps nipples.. will have to check for them..

Should I turn off the gas pilot when I do this... have never done this.

Well system pressure drops suddenly [ 5 Answers ]

We have a deep-well (230 feet) domestic water system. I usually turn off the pump and electric water heater when we'll be away for a while, partly to save electricity and to limit damage in case a pipe bursts. When we returned home after being away for a few days, the whole-house filter filled...

Well water pressure drops from 60 to 40 even when not in use [ 1 Answers ]

Our well water pressure seems lower than usual in shower, outside sprinkler, etc. Pump turns on at 40 and off at 60. But after pressure reaches 60 it decreases to 40 even if no faucet or other water appliance is on. Is that normal or do I have a well problem? Pressure tank air pressure looks...

I tried taking the faucet apart and checking the washers, and they were all fine. Cleaned everything really well and put it all back together, and still have trickle for...
