Hot water pressure in condo suddenly drops... Help!
The hot water pressure in my condo has suddenly decreased. There is no leakage anywhere. It happened all of a sudden yesterday. There is no well or sump pump. City water supply. Any ideas?

Gas or electric water heater? Do you flush, (not drain) your water heater on a regular schedule? Are all the faucets affected? Do you have "heat trap" nipples, (see image) installed on the inlets of the heater? Back to, you, Tom

    Tom:

Thank you so much.To answer your questions - Gas heater; no, I have never drained my heater. Yes, all the faucets are affected. I don't know about heat traps nipples.. will have to check for them..

Should I turn off the gas pilot when I do this... have never done this.
