First of all someone needs to kill the power to furnace,don`t know how many hours ago you wrote this but you shouldn`t allow the igniter to glow this long.
Next we need more info on problem,, after you turn off,after a few minutes to allow cool down,standing in front of furnace have someone to turn back on, now tell us each step ,what happens, When you get back with info,include furnace name brand and model number |
