    Furnace flame
    If my flame comes on Loud upon startup, it use to be quiet, and I'm noticing a little black dust underneath it does that mean the pilot needs to be cleaned out?

    It never hurts to keep pilot clean,wouldn`t hurt to do once a year

    When the flame comes on very loud, you might look into needing the air adjusted on the end of each burner
    A lot of the older furnaces with pilot lights had air adjustments, your might
