    Hunter thermostat wiring?
I am replacing a honeywell thermostat with a hunter thermostat for a 2 stage heat pump. On the old thermostat the why and w1 spots are jumpered. In the new, there is a y1 and y2 spot as well as a w1 locacation. Where does the yellow wire go?

About the only way I can help you is to advise you to not buy, use, or install a hunter tstat. You will be lucky to get it working, and if you do don`t count on them to last very long, about 1 year is the life of the hunter junk

, the best part about hunter tstats is I`ve made som good money going behind them and replacing them with good tstats,, you can`t beat a Honeywell
