Old Armstrong Furnace. Pilot lit, burners won't

Yesterday AM the breaker for the furnace kept tripping. I opened it up and noticed that the wire running to the limit screw on the limit switch had melted to the furnace. I removed the wire and ran a new one. Now the fan runs but the burners won't. Any ideas?
Furnace burners will not turn on, but the pilot is lit.

I turned on the heat for the first time this season and no heat came out. I checked the furnace and the pilot was out. I lit the pilot and it stays lit (been on for over a day now.) I tried the heat again and still nothing. So, the furnace is getting power, the fan works when "ON." The pilot...

We've had a problem the last 2 winters with our furnace, always fixed but last night the furnace stopped working. We checked and there was no pilot light. Actually in this model we don't even know where we would light it. Someone told me it might be the thermo couple but I am in need of another...

We have a propane heater. We have propane in the tank. There is air blowing through the vents, but there is no heat.
