I have a intermatic t103 timer I have a 30 amp breaker I have 10/2 romex from the breaker to the timer the timer says it is double pole single throw I want two 120 volt wired outlets from this timer it says it has a 120 volt clock it has one terminal that has the letter a on it and a white wire going to the clock it also has 4 terminals 1 threw 4 #1 having the other white wire from the clock #2 terminal seems to be the other side of switch # 1 switch # 2 seems to be independent from switch # 1 and uses terminal #3 and #4 so I have a black and a white coming in and two blacks and two whites going out how do I hook this all up ? I would think I may have to use a jumper wire to use switch #2 I think this timer was made for a 240 volt 3 wire in and two 120 volt 2 wire out does anyone know how to wire this up the way that I am trying to

If you have a 30 Amp 120 volt feeder, you do not need a two pole clock, since you only have one circuit to control.

You may bring the 120 volt to the clock connnect white to A terminal, and black to #1 and jumper to #3, this will feed both sets of contacts, and you can then have your two load wires connect to terminals #2 and 4.

Since you have a 30 amp 120 volt feeder, each of the two loads must be wired for 30 amp, to include the wire and devices at the ends.

Thank you Tkrussell big help I may change a few things I have two 20 amp breaker that I was going to replace with the 30 amp breaker would it be better to run a 3 wire to the two 20 amp breakers the timer is rated at 40 amps and that would keep my out going stuff at 20 amp each ? Yes, you can use a 3 wire cable to deliver two 120 volt circuits and use that clock to switch the two circuits.

Then you will not need the jumper.

I assume you have the wiring diagram for the clock.

Yes I do l thank you for the help the loads would be she black wires leaving the timer what do I do with the white wires leaving the timer would those go to the A terminal with the white wire that goes to the clock? Sorry so many questions I am electrically challenged thanks

I doubt the A terminal can handle 3 wires, add a short jumper from Term A and splice with a wire nut the jumper and the Line white and the two Load whites.
