Goodman inducer/blower fan won't turn on
    Hello experts.

I've got an outdoor Goodman furnace and a/c unit, model # PGB036100, that's giving me some problems. It's getting pretty cold. Would love some insight.

Here's the problem. The furnace isn't turning on at all. The following happens every time. I turn my thermostat on to heat, thermostat clicks, something near the control circuit board on the furnace clicks, the usually solid LED light on the control board blinks twice, pause, then it tries another cycle. The inducer/blower fan doesn't turn on, no gas flows, no spark ignition, no fan that pulls air from inside the house.

Quick related problem from this summer. The inducer/draft blower kept turning on sporadically, even though only the a/c was on. The problem persisted even when the thermostat was totally disconnected, making me assume there was a short in the furnace itself. I ended up disconnecting the furnace and deciding to figure it out when it got cooler.

Here's what I've found so far:

LED flashes twice. I found Goodman furnace codes on the net that say two blinks means "the draft blower is not working, or your furnace has a short in the pressure switch circuit.

Read more: How to Read the Trouble Code Light on a Goodman Furnace | eHow.com http://www.ehow.com/how_7505232_read-code-light-goodman-furnace.html#ixzz1exFaIvpy" Here is the link to that site.

Also, a snake had gotten up behind my control circuit board, got stuck and died. I discovered him after my furnace wouldn't turn on. I figured that it's rotting carcass shorted had my control board. I put a brand new one in (easy, and very certain it's done correctly). But, am having the same problem. (no difference or new problems after changing control board).

The a/c works just fine. The fan that pulls air from inside the house works when turned on from the thermostat. I bypassed the thermostat wiring that goes from the house and wired a thermostat directly to the furnace to rule out any shorts in those wires between the house and the furnace.

Any thoughts? I'm thinking the draft blower isn't turning on because of a short in a switch (hence, it sporadically turning on and off this summer). It was turning on this summer, and I disconnected it. I don't know where the "pressure switch circuit" would be. I see no rubber gas tubes going anywhere in the back of the furnace - only the solid metal pipe.

For further reference here is a link to an image of the control circuit board (press the click to enlarge). But, pretty sure everything on the new board is working properly.

    I'm at a loss.

    Regards
