Hi. I have a 27" Panasonic with tube, about 7 yrs old.
Has a HD Cable box with PVR attached.
Was watching a show which I paused for a few minutes, and when I came back to it, the image was 'rolling' and won't stop. There is sound and you can tell a show is on, but unable to stabilize the image.
    Please Help.
    Thanks you in advance.

    Is the TV's menu affected?

If so, check your vertical hold first. If that doesn't help, then it's likely you need repair work done on it. It's possible that there's a resistor that needs replacing, but unless you have electronics knowledge it probably isn't worth having it fixed.

Forgive my total ignorance, but when I clicked on Menu on my TV remote, not the cable box one, I did not see anything to help with vertical lines?
Then in error I pressed TV/Video button right next to it and it highlighted the PVR option. Image stabilized, but no sound. Image was also black and white.

Looks like I'll be getting my Xmas present earlier this year :)

Evil "queen" killed in tube. [ 2 Answers ]

Years ago I saw part of a movie where this evil Queen/Witch/Sorceress is killed. What I remember about it is that it was almost certainly a child's fantasy movie: The Queen was killed, and her hand was nearly crushed or severed, or actually was in either case, while trapped in a tube. The tube...
