Possibly being pregnant? I missed three pills in a row

I have missed three pills in a row and finished out my pack and haven't started my period yet. I had some brown spotting but it stopped after a day of missing my pills. I have had unprotected sex in the past 7 days as well. Should be expecting? I mean I don't know how long I should wait to possibly even take a test
