    Can a police officer give you a dui after three months from the accident
    I live in Chicago Illinois and I had a accident due to drunk driving, but I did not get charged thankfully, but can they still charge me

    While not very likely, yes they still can. They can still charge as long as it is within the SOL.

    Well its five years, but what would make them come back and do that.. I have no priors in anything, I have a clean record and I'm 33

    In general, if you are not charged that same week, they seldom ever come back
