    Peeing in the house
I just moved out of my exboyfriends house and into a house with 3 roommates and brought my 1 1/2 year old shepherd mix with me. She has been house broken since we have gotten her, but at my old hosue we had a doggy door and here we don't. When we first got here she would whine and let me know when she has to go outside, but now she won't and will just go in the house. She has never gone in the house even when we have had to block the doggy door for many hours. I don't know what to do to get her to stop eliminating in the house. I take her outside every 1-2 hours and I praise her when she goes outside but she still goes in the hosue. What should I do, and why so you think that she is doing this?

Maybe she is not used to it and not used to not having a doggy door. Take her out a lot and praise her when she goes.

Dogs do like routine and your guy's is now changed. Time to start over like she was a pup again. Crate her until this is resolved. Feed her twice a day at the same time, walk her 10-45 minutes after she eats. Try to establish what her routine is, does she eliminate at about the same time each day?
