    Satisfying a judgement to an insurance company
    Should I write something on the cashiers check to ensure that satisfaction of judgement is clear?

    Wouldn't hurt.

    But you should also send along a cover letter confirming that the payment will be complete satisfaction of the judgment, and ask that they write you back with confirmation.

    Keep copies of your correspondence of course.
