    Can I be by lease holder?
    My name is on the lease as occupant, but my brother is the lease holder? Can he put me out if my name shows on the lease as occupant? I live in Dallas, Tx

    He can put you out if your name isn't on the lease at all. Since he is the leaseholder he is your landlord and you are the tenant. As long as he follows the rules for eviction in TX, he can force you out.

    What he can't do is throw you out or lock you out.
