    How much weight should I lose?
    Hi, I am a 13 year old girl teen and my weight is 150. My height is 5.4. I self-conscious about my body and I need to know if I need to lose weight if so, how much, and how to do so.

    You are not too far off. My first suggestion is see your doctor. Speak to him/her about your concerns, about the possibility of seeing a nutrition specialist.

    Start minding WHAT you eat. Don't starve yourself, and don't try to limit your intake. Keep an eye on WHAT you are eating more than HOW MUCH.

    Get yourself into an exercise regimen.

    And please do not set yourself up for a life time of insecurities. You are perfectly fine no matter what you LOOK like. All that matters is that you are healthy. And your doctor is the one to decide if you are or not. Your height and weight can only tell so much. It does not take into account if you have breasts, if your hips have spread, if you are menstruating, if you are retaining water or are bloated, etc.

    Please see your doctor. And try not to over stress about this.
