I used to live in a 50 year old house and weird and scary things would happen to me. One night I was reading and one of my siblings toys that you have to interact with went off... and a few nights after the same thing happened. Another night I was reading I heard something in the laundry room and the attic door was wide open. Yeah I was crying who wouldn't? I moved and though well thank god I don't have to deal with it anymore and you would think things would be back to normal. But the first night there was banging on my room wall.. and what's creepier the attic door is in my room. A month passed and my dads house scissors went missing and nobody touched them. The next morning they were on the table. He freaked out and saged the whole house(holy herb). And it kept getting worse.. for me. A few days ago a painting on the wall fell unexplained and there was no way it could have fallen without someone knocking it down.. and up to this day I always feel something unexplainable... Am I being followed by something evil?

These uncommon peculiarities are common to the persons with disturbed minds. These happenings have no scientific background or reason, as they are usually the human perception only. Amnesia, I mean forgetting something after you placed it somewhere, and finding it from there, but perceiving that someone else placed it there, is something usually happens, in such cases. Be a firm believer in yourself and in science, and be careful and a careful observer too, to see if there is not someone intentionally trying to make your life mess/hell. I hope you got the point.

What does 'I did just wondering if' mean? I mean, what do you look up to and what do you perceive and what did you do?

As KP pointed out in a great majority of strange and what seems to be paranormal events end up being explained by finding a natural or rational cause.

And because these things are happening it by no means indicates that you have a disturbed mind .
When a scary or disturbing event happens the human brain will become more aware of the surroundings in response to our instinct for self preservation.

This can cause you to notice things that happen all the time but you have not noticed when you are in a relaxed state. But in this heightened state of awareness they are noticed and seem odd because we have not noticed them before.

When a house is heated by the sun in the day then cools at night the expanding and contracting can cause noises you would never suspect building materials to be capable of making.
From what sounds like voices, to banging on the walls,and footsteps on a floor are very often caused by this movement of the walls and roof as it heats and cools.
Plumbing and water pipes can cause many different sounds and vibrations.

In all honesty 95% of the time there is a reasonable explanation that has been obscure or overlooked and from what you have told us I feel that is more than likely what is happening around you.

But there are times that there is no explanation. I have experienced this myself and I know they happen and have to be dealt with differently , but without a doubt can be stopped. Again , I do not think this is the case as you have described it regarding your situation.

I think you may be able to find many of the causes if you try to do so calmly and rationally .

You stated that electronic toys designed to interact with went off by itself.
Radio signals can cause this to happen and we are surrounded by radio and similar energies constantly. Even the sun emits energy that can cause havoc with electronics and they act abnormally.

Yes, there can be natural explanations for these happenings... BUUUUUT, don't think you are crazy either... especially not disturbed. Everything you described is also good grounds for a haunting. Is there a reason you dad freaked out so much about the scissors missing? Seems like an odd thing to convince someone that there house is haunted. Has your dad had other experiences that you know of?

Yes.. my father had a friend that died... also at the old house there was an incident where I was in my room and he was walking and its seemed like he was glaring at something.. but when I walked up to him... he didn't even look at me or anything.. sleepwalking? Idk there might be explainations but its still ominous..

Yes, I believe it is a curious situation you have there. May I ask how old you are? Where did your father find out about burning sage?

I am 15.. and I don't know where he found out but he did it with a sense of urgency... and he didn't sage my room at first.. then he decided to change his mind..

Well, I'm going to tell you, burning sage is simply superstition... just like using salt to cleanse from a haunting. I am getting the feeling your dad may know more or has experienced more than he is letting on. You might want to ask him about it. Have things settled down since the smudging?
