    Mechanical timer hookup?
I have GE-15307 mechanical timer installed for my pool. I have followed the instructions, adding the salt chlorine generator to the mix. http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/GE-mechanical-15307-Manual.pdf

The problem I am having is that, while I can turn it on manually, I cannot get the timer to turn on once the cycle is over. If I set the timer to where it is on and running towards the off "tripper", it will work until it goes off and then the timer will not spin anymore. I suspect that something is wired incorrectly. This is with a brand new timer, and the timer was replaced once before when I suspected that the timer was bad.

    Any thoughts?

What is the supply voltage to the timer? You do realize it needs 240 volts?

Is this not how the timer is supposed to function? I am trying to understand.

When the timer goes to "off" or runs out of time, it would not spin.. it would be off. Because the timer has reached its time limit... right?

Answerman, I'm curious as to why you chose to respond to this item.

There has been no response from the original poster since Oct. of 2008. More than likely or logically this is a dead post.
