    Hew do I fill out my w4 if my husband claiming him and the kids on his w4
    I'm am married and I work full time and my husband works part time, he is claiming himself and our 2 kids on his w4 and on mine I put 0 and married is that right, or do I got claim myself on my w4? Remind you he is not claiming me on his but he put married on his w4?

    On the W4 you don't really "claim" dependents like you do on a tax return - what you do is calculate how many allowances you want to include, so that the amount of withholding is approximately correct for your particular situation. If you follow the directions on the W4 it suggests that since both you and your husband work you should each claim 3 allowances (1 for yourself and 2 for the children). Then come 2012 when you are figuring your 2011 taxes you can compare how much was withheld against your actual tax bill - if too much or too little was withhled you can then submit an updated W4 with fewer (or more) allowances claimed, The objective is to get it so that the amount withheld is as close as possible to what is actually owed in income taxes.
