I have removed trip lever assembly, it is in 2 pieces. How do I put it back together?
The drain lever was in a closed position, so I removed the 2 screws. Inside I found the lever and am able to remove it enough to grab it but it is separated from the drain lever. How do I fix that or is it broken? Do I need a new one?

Tub drain plunger separated from trip lever assembly [ 1 Answers ]

I had a plumber fix a tub drain plunger. Apparently, instead of fixing or adjusting the old type (lever to visible stopper), he must have replaced it with a newer type (lever to internal stopper).
