Have a few words to a song I like and can't figure out who sings it
Lyric finder search engines aren't working... the song is about an elderly man who lost his wife... the promised each other if one got to heaven before the other... "if you get there before me"... and (he never cried before in "all his years"... that's all I know hope that helps... It's killing me I can't think of the artist or find it on the net... Thanks

First the words reminded me of a video I saw of "Josh Turner's song Would you go with me"(about childhood sweethearts and as they get older she dies and he's looking for her... It was a song released in the 90's and it had a woman rapping and she played a violin. Some of the chorus was "ima pack my bags and head out west" and "ain't no thing but a chicken wiiiiing" any help would be appreciated. I just heard it on the radio and its driving me nuts not knowing the name.
