    Ex forged signature on loan modification
    My ex wife forged my signature on a loan modification on the house she got in the divorce. The bank has already faxed me a copy of the document, and it is forged, so I know she didn't get the modification without my signature. What are my options as far as criminal charges and stopping the loan modification process?

    As far as criminal charges are concerned, that would be up to the prosecutor, when you notify them.

    Stopping the loan modification is easy, assuming it has not gone through and the loan proceeds disbursed. Simply notify the bank that the signature is not yours.
