    Fertility issues... HELP!
My fiancée and I have been trying to conceive for 18 months now. I was on BC for only a week. I used the nuva ring and stopped on February 12th 2010. Should I be concerned. I'm 18 but my fiancée and I are ready for our first child but, I'm concerned with the fact that I'm young and most doctors might not help me.

Wait until you are stable with a career and you two are both able to provide for yourselves, on your own first, then decide whether you can support a child. You may be ready emotionally for a child, but whether you can provide a good life for your child is the most important. Finish college, make sure your fiancé finishes college. If you do not, you will be behind the curve and will not be likely to provide your child with a good life. For the sake of your child's life, wait until you are financially stable, emotionally stable and your relationship is solid (it will change drastically before you turn 25. My best friend and his fiancé had a child 2 years ago. They were stable, done with college and both had great jobs. 6 months ago, divorce.
