    Electric window in my carwill not work
    The garage told me that the motor for the open/closer dies- can I have the rear window (one I never use) be switched to the fro9nt?

    Our crystal ball is a bit cloudy. Telling us what car model might help. Check with Advanced auto or Autozone to see if the parts numbers are the same.

    The simplest thing is to call or go to a mitsu dealer and check the part #'s. In some cases the motors are the same but the way they are installed is different and brackets etc. may not fit. If is is a full opening window, your chances are better. You could also have the mechanic pull the door panel and look at the motor.

    Have the mechanic replace the motor,, easiest way to solve the problem. Changing the entire window and lift assembly is a very time consuming (hence expensive) job.
