    Approximately how much does it cost to wire and install a gfi outlet in a bathroom on a preexiting home?

    I think the outlet costs $15-$20. Unfortunately to make a living, an electrician would have to charge $50-$100 for installation. There is not much to it, be a good DIY starter project needing little more than a screwdriver and being able to shut the breaker off and read and follow directions. Post back if you want more help.

    Just to install 40.00 if you called id do it for free. You said wire? If I had to cut in a box fish wire down the wall tap in to existing power install outlett 80.00-120.00
