Why do I cry so much?
I'm 15 and emo, but I have'nt cut for awhile (5 months). Out of nowhere a few weeks ago at a swim meet I started crying. Now anytime anywhere if I think of my past, loved ones, almost anything; I run and hide so I can cry.. I feel if I tell my parents they will send me away. I don't like to cry during the day. I cry myself to sleep at night because of my past... I don't know what to do, please help!

Your past? You're only 15. What past have you had?

Your parents will not send you away. Please don't get histrionic.

You ever considered to be HSP? (high sensitive personality). Do you have a lot of imagination, are you getting emotional of good music, or a very intense movie?

At first you don't even know what's emo.Your problem is that you calling yourself emo.btw you don't have past, you are 15 girl.Everything you can do is stop calling you emo,and start to think like adult person! And if you have bad past, maybe your parents or your friend make it bad,you need to cope with that. You need to be stronger.Don't cry.Just get up in the morning, with new you.be stronger. When you want to cry, just think about something else,or think about some jokes to make yourself laughter!

You really do need to talk to your parents or even a counselor at school. Don't cut yourself. It proves nothing and only reassures yourself that there IS something wrong. You don't explain your "awful" past and that has to come out before anyone can help you. Please get some help. And stop the "emo" stuff. It isn't a lifestyle, it is fashion. NEVER be afraid to ask for help.

I appreciate your addition to this discussion but most times it isn't as simple as "thinking about some jokes".
