How to take parental rights away from biological mother?
I have a surrogate who her and I had a verbal agreement that she would carry a child for me. Upon having the baby, she became very obsessed with me and told people she was jealous of my partner. We originally agreed that she would be apart of the baby's life but not as a parent. She has popped in and out of her life for 7 months; just to take pictures. She never asks about how the baby is doing nor makes any effort to talk to her or interact with her. She has stated that she wasn't going to sign her rights away so that my partner could adopt her. We have a custody agreement that I have full legal custody and primary physical custody and she only has partial physical custody. Now she wants to change the custody order so that she has the baby more often. Our surrogate has lied and said she has had a stocker, she makes no effort to talk about how the baby is doing, she doesn't interact with her, she treats her older daughter like a slave, and just wants to use the baby as a doll not as a person. Does anyone think I could get her rights away from the surrogate?

Did you have a legal contract?

    What state are you in?

Some states do not even allow surrogacy legally--if you live in one of those states, you'd have to prove she's a danger to the child to have involuntary relinquishment happen.

This is why verbal agreements rather than legal court agreements are not a good idea when it comes to children.

You need to go back to the attorney who did your first contract with her. Unless she signed over custody to allow you to adopt, she may well be in a good legal position
