i(anchal) have an affair of 3 years from school times till college.. i love him(gaurav) like hell but ya there were always problems between us as i did'nt used to listen him much or i have the habit of living independent.so der we had many fights between us regradng small n big things.i used be scared from him too..so never used to tell him certain things.it goes on 3 years but during that time we were even very close too n our love was not any end but the time comes when me n my bf both started feeling independent n distances too came between us which make us seperated,it has been 1 year now but i still can'nt love any other guy.i try to had an affair but it goes for 1-2 months but again i broke with him(varun) and told him that i can'nt forget my past.i.e..gaurav...its very difficult for me to be away for gaurav now..i want him back..but do'nt know how..?? as we tlk now as friends..even he(gaurav) had a new gf(ankita) now which love him alot..i do'nt know what to do..??? i am crazy about him like hell. even we few days ago i met him(gaurav),without his present gf(ankita),at that time we were like gf-bf.we were so close to one another but there after 1 day his present gf comes,n der i was d one who was getting jelous n neglected..i was not able to live with them as dey were so close to each other in night,i can'nt see that but still i saw it as have no other option to move out.As we were staying in one flat.how it feels i can'nt tell when u see ur EX bf n his gf together.. after watching all that alsoo why i am able to get away from him..?? y i love himm soo much..i do'nt know what to do now..??

Sometimes you don't know what you had, until it's gone.

It is a good idea like Judy said, to think about this situation, if it were reversed. It gives you a more realistic perspective of just how far off the mark you are here.

He has moved on, he has a new life with a new girlfriend. He's moving forward.

You have not moved on, cannot establish a new relationship (because of your fixation on him) and you are not moving forward.

As long as you stay where you are now, you won't find happiness. You will remain miserable, lamenting about what you lost, and comparing all other men to him, and none of them will measure up.

Love hurts and love stinks sometimes. Sometimes you love someone and they love you back, and even at that, the insurmountable differences cause the relationship to end.

If you are unable to cope with this, please consider counselling to figure out how to let go, why you need to, and what you have to do to get your life back on track again.
