    My sister and her boyfriend and two children were murdered
    In January 2011, my sister Jolene and her two kids were murdered as well as her boyfriend. The person that we suspect did it may go free. Did he do it? If not, who did?

    I am sorry for your loss,

    That is the issue, the person you suspect, not a person you can prove did it. If you could prove he did it ( normally) they will be arrested and convicted sometimes.

    My first wife was murdered about 15 years ago, there is a person we suspected but nothing was ever done. Have you talked to the DA about what evidence their may be ? Ask them what the status of the crime is ?

    It is up to the DA office to take someone to trial, after the police get enough evidence.
