    Support after TPR
Is this the same in FLorida?Florida terminated my sons fathers rights because he abused him at three months of age.The state child support people are giving us a hearing, but they didn't take me seriously when I told them that his rights were terminated. And can he get rights back if they are making him pay?I worry of the safety of my son.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

I can't find any indication that termination of rights in FL doesn't terminate responsibilities. I'm sure they will not reinstate rights, but I can't tell if they will grant support. The fact that they are giving you a hearing is a good sign though. If the law was clear that a TPR terminates responsibility, you wouldn't get a hearing.
