Is there a way a technician can sabotage my AC system so that it fails?
I had a technician/customer inspect my AC units last fall, and he said there is not much that ever happens to the commercial compressors, helped me change my filters, etc. About a week ago, he came in and said, "You haven't been running your air conditioning, huh?"
I had been, but shortly after he came in, they started going buggy. I have two units for 3200 square feet. Now, neither will go on. I'm just wondering if there was something he could have done that would allow them to run for a while, then quit on me! One unit triggers the 220 breaker after trying to go on. The other seems like it's just not getting triggered by the thermostat. Any suggestions?
