    Am I too jealous?
My boyfriend and I have been dating almost a year according to him, but to me it's only been about 5 months since the first 5 months he was dating someone else who lived far away and was seeing me since I lived closer. He owns a nightlife business and throws 3 parties a week. All of our fights have revolved around the way he reacts/treats other girls. We've had 3 fights total, all at his events:
One where he was screaming across the bar to some girl about how they were married
One where I asked him to dance and he said no and went a danced with someone else
And finally when he asked some girl to take off her pants and grind up on him while I was sitting there (and yes, she did it.)
Going to his events has even got me in trouble with some of the girls who have tried to start **** by walking up to me and cussing me out.
Recently, he's asked me not to go to some of his parties. Nothing happened at any of the events, he's just been throwing singles events and would say he's not going to go, then he goes and ends up doing coke in his apartment with his "friend"/coke dealer, a girl.
Then this last one he said it was probably best I don't go, then I find out later when I'm at home that it's a lingerie party, where girls are only suppose to wear their underwear and he'll buy them a drink.
Personally I've had enough, but he thinks I overreact. So I'm wondering if I am overreacting.

Honestly... It sounds like you are trying to fit in to a situation which is not conjucive to your needs! Are you over-reacting and jealous... No I don't think so. If you want to know the end, look at the beginning, you guys cannot even agree on the length f your court ship, sounds like he's with you due to better location... Looks like the list goes on, however through skimming your thread, I can tell it's a situation only set to hurt you.

You are not overreacting. It sounds like this guy has the kind of job that means a lifestyle that you don't agree with. And if you want him to change the way he behaves and his lifestyle, then that would mean giving up his business which, no offence, but he is extremely unlikely to do.

He doesn't sound like the kind of guy you could spend the rest of your life with, and if you're already coming across problems then, I'm sorry to be the one to tell you, but I think you need to get rid of him and move on.

Obviously it's up to you, and if you think you can live with this way of life, then stay with him, but if you're unhappy, don't live with it, do something about it.
