My mum has been arguing constantly with me, my grandparents, my siblings and worst of all my dad recently after having a surgery she has been horrible to all of us and I just want her to shut up and go back to being a mother and not a swearing *****.

How old are you? What kind of surgery did she have? Has it left her unable to do certain things? People don't just act out of character because they feel like it, anger especially can stem from depression and its something the person that has the depression will beat themselves up about daily, they don't mean to be angry, especially to their loved ones.

You need to be strong for her, do more around the house for her and look after her in her moment of need, I'm sure she has done plenty for you over the years and took good care of you. Now you do the same, start by being extra nice to her and make her a nice cup of tea every morning. A little goes a long way!

It isn't easy when you are young to see your parents as people who have needs too.
Surgery can do many things to people:
Pain.
Side effects from medications.
Changes in the body chemistry.
Fear of dying, or knowing that doctors are saying she faces more illness or death.

If you are old enough to go online about this, you are old enough to ask her how you can help, you she feels, is there anything she wants to tell you.
I might even gather your dad and grandparents around and say 'Let's cook a special dinner for her and treat her like a queen for a whole week, not letting her do anything around the house.' And keep going too after the week. Maybe no one has appreciated all she has done and what she has just gone through.
