    Where is the backup light switch on my car
    OK it's a 1990 civic dx... I've been told that the reason my reverse light don't work is something called a
    "backup light switch"...
    ... there is something with cut wired beneth the distributer cap attached to the transmisson... is this the switch??

    Most backup switches are located on the transaxle or on the floor shift. Make sure the bulbs are OK first.

    Can I access the back up light swich from under the hood of my 1995 chrysler lebaron 3.0 v6 or do I have to go under the car... regards larry
