I'm going to get parts from a junk yard for my work truck: 1999 Chevy S-10 pickup.

I'll be getting some Molding, Grille, RT Headlamp assy and hood lock.

I've heard that other years might also use the same parts... and that also some other vehicles (Blazer? Sonoma?) and years might use the same parts.

How can I find out what other vehicles and years use the same parts?

. The data bases used by many salvage yards should contain that information.

. Advanced Auto Parts may be able to provide that information, since they have access to salvage parts.

. Check with your local Chevy parts department.

. Online search should be productive, if you can get the part numbers.
