I started my period January 1 and it lasted about 7 days.. I started again on January 16, first spotting and now it is heavier. What could be the cause of this? I am not on birth control and have been off for over a 1 year now. Please help.. I have never done this before.. What could it be? I am 26..

Okay Candice, I see you are new to AMHD. It is best that you just post one question in the category in which your question fits. It is not necessary to post the same question over and over. If you do not know how this works, keep scrolling down past the answers you get and you will see the "Answer this Question" box and you can continue the topic there. K?

Now, to answer your question. Are you sexually active? When was your last female exam?
