Hi I have recently split with my ex partner who I have a two and a half year old son with. My son is everything to me and I love him to bits and the time we spend together. However recently my ex has started threatening me with not seeing him. When I asked why she said ' its because he's too naughty, doesn't listen to her, doesn't go to bed when he's told' etc and she says its my fault he's like this. I find this absolutely ridiculous she is jealous of the bond we have and is trying to hurt me. Also she is a drug user and I no it goes on at her house when my son is there. She is always taking her anger out on him and I feel its not a good environment for my son to be brought up in. My ex partner also has a new partner who has threatened to beat me up and trash my dads car. Also I dropped my son back to my ex today after we spent some time away in ireland seeing family and when I got back my ex turned up with her new boyfriend and five other people who had their hoods up and faces covered. I no they were there for me and I now feel intimidated. This is not right and I can't live like this. I want sole custody of my son and need some help any advice will be greatly appreciated.

File for sole custody with the court... and be prepared to provide definitive proof WHY the child is better off with you than with the mother.

There isn't supposed to be gender bias or discrimination... but there is. Against men.

Have you been established as the legal father? Are you on the birth certificate? Has there been any court action regarding custody and visitation?
