Father trying to get sole custody
OK. The father of my kids is making accussations about my son, saying he has strange bruising and that he wants sole custody... he thinks its in the kids best interest.
Can he get sole custody because of the allegations he is saying. He says he has pictures to prove it,but my son is a typical 3yr old who falls, and bruises. He is a boy.he plays rough

We cannot predict what a court will do. It doesn't sound like enough evidence to modify the current custody order. Have you taken the boy to his pediatrician to give him a clean bill of health?

P.S. When asking a question about law, its important to indicate your general area as laws vary by area.

    Kids father wanting sole custody
My kids father served me to modify the court order we have now. He wants sold custody of my kids. He is making accusations that my son has Strange Bruising!! He says he has proof,pix,etc... Can he get sole custody, what kind of proof does he have to show for the judge to give him what he wants? Would they investigate first without taking his word for it?? My kids have been in my custody since birth,I'm the one that's been there more... he can have more visitation, but not Sole Custody! What can I do to prove that he shouldn't get it... Does me not working have anything to do with it,even though I'm looking for work, its just been tough? Please help me.
