93 Honda Del Sol
I am having a major issue with the car not starting when it's hot out. Half the time the car will start up rev to about 2k RPMS then just die back out. Then when you turn the key the car tries to start, can hear spark and engine attempts to turn but won't fully engage.
Now within the past 2 weeks if it does start and I'm driving when I go to slow down at a red light, the RPMS dip down and the car just basically "Stalls" out. Me nor any of my friends can figure out what the issue is. If ANYONE has any tips or suggestions please help. New or Fixed parts: - New alternator - New fuel pump - Battery is fine - Radiator is fine - Spark plugs look good - Recently cleaned the IACV |

Hi, I have a Honda Del Sol 94 model 1.6 single over head cam v tech. When it is humid or raining my car will not start. I can turn the key on and leave it for 5 minutes or so and it will eventually start. I have replaced the distributor cap and fuel pump. Any other suggestions?
I had a 93 honda del sol when the engine is cold it runs perfect but when starts warming up while I'm driving when I step on the gas it feels like dying or choking. But when step on the gas smoothly there is no problem. It's just when I step the gas hard in quickly.
My 94 Honda Del Sol won't start. First we thought it might be the Main Relay but that was fine. Then we thought maybe it was the fuel pump but that was fine too. I am at a complete loss and I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP ME!!
My mileage is 90,000. My muffler is loud and the dealer suggested to have it replaced for $200. My maintenance on this car has been real minimal - what can I expect the lifespan of this car to be? I'm trying to see if it is worth it for the muffler. Thanks Theresa
I was in a fender bender a few months back that broke the radiator. Before I knew the radiator was broken I drove it home, and while it was not in gear it would rev up and down on its own.
