How old are they? What time is last bathroom break and what time is the first one in the morning? What time is their last meal of the day and when is water taken up? Have you ruled out a medical reason? Are they up to date on shots and deworming?

We need more info to give an accurate answer.

Well, apparently they aren't potty trained. Morgann asks great questions which need to be answered. Shot in the dark is to feed earlier and walk them one hour later. Crating at night will help until training is complete. Also tell us gender, age and if they are neutered

They aren't potty trained if they are messing in the home. The best way to house break is consistency. A soon as the dogs are done eating, drinking or playing, they go outside. Now seeing as your problem happens mostly at night, you could always try to feed them earlier and allow more "potty" breaks before bed. Have you considered crating? A lot of dogs find crates to be soothing and a comforting place. Most dogs will also not use the bathroom in their "dens". De wormed? Up to date with vaccines? Spayed or neutered? Did this just start happening? And sudden changes in their/ your lives?
