Remove rust from metal gas cans?
I have a couple of rusty metal gas cans, I would like to "bring them back to life" and use them. One has rust on the bottom and a few rust spots inside. I took steel wool to the bottom and managed to remove some but not all. The second one has solid rust inside and on the bottom (possible too far gone?). What can I do (if anything) to remove the rust inside and on the bottom? Thanks.

Rust metal gas cans should be dealt with in the safest way possible in recycling; you SHOULD NOT BE trying to bring them back to normal. Why would you want do that ? Is this a project ?

They are gone, dude, gone and will return to dust eventually.

Hi, All! I'm wondering if it's okay to store unfinished cans of food in the refrigerator in their original cans. I've heard that it wasn't okay, and that some sort of chemical reaction happens between the sides of the can and the food to make the food unsafe, once the contents has been...
