    Our unit will not cut off, the breaker cannot shut it off.

    If the breaker isn't shutting it off... you obviously have a mislabeled breaker (trust me.. it happens frequently) because the power to it goes through a breaker.

    An Electrician my remove the Breaker to Verify it is the correct Breaker, Or if the Breaker is failing to open.
