    Alabama quiet title search?
About 2 years ago, I filed bankruptcy due to foreclosure. While going through the motions, I told the lawyer that my ex-husband is on my deed but he is not on the mortgage that I am paying on now. She said that was good for me. That helped me out in my case. How? My mother had a mortgage on the house when she died. I bought the house and my ex-husband signed with me and therefore ended up on my deed. I refinanced a couple of years later to get him off the mortgage and I assumed the deed was automatically changed due to the refinancing but later found out that he is still on the deed and I refinanced again and the same thing, he is still on my deed. Can this work in my favor?
