    At age 15 can my child refuse to visit with father?
    My daughter is 15 her father is supposely to get her evey other weekend.. he just got out of jail and wants to see her does she have a right to refuse to go?

    No, first it is not a choice the child has, it is a court order to the parent with custody to turn the child over. So it is your choice if you wish to violate a court order and risk being found in contempt.

    You do have the right of course to take him back to court to ask to have his visitation modified.

    Is there a reason to think she would be in danger.

    If there is a court order for visitation you have to present your daughter for the visitation. However you do not have to force her. For example, lets say the agreement is to bring her to his house. You have to bring her there. But you do not have to physically force her to go with him.

    What will then happen is he goes to court and the court may force the issue. But if you don't present her for his scheduled visits then you can be cited for contempt of court.
