I owned a townhome before I got married, then after getting married I moved out & have used it as rental property. However, after a year on the market to sell &/or rent we have had no luck & are now looking toward forclosure/short sale, etc. But we wanted to know how to protect our primary residence, land we own & other assets we have from this foreclosure on the townhouse/rental property?
