U.S. corporate profits hit an ALL TIME HIGH at the end of 2010, with financial firms showing some of the biggest gains. Corporations reported an annualized $1.68 trillion in profit in the fourth quarter. The previous record, without being adjusted for inflation, was $1.65 trillion in the third quarter of 2006.

Since Obama was inaugurated, the Dow Jones has increased more than 50% - from 8,000 to more than 12,000. The wealthiest amongst us received a massive tax cut, and the share of U.S. taxes paid by corporations has fallen from 30% of federal revenue in the 1950s to 6.6% in 2009.

Can you smell Obama's radical Marxist anti-business agenda yet?

His first chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, made close to $20 million in three short years as an investment banker, while his second, Bill Daley, served for years as JP Morgan's Midwest Chairman. His Treasury Secretary is undoubtedly the most loyal and dedicated servant Wall Street has ever had in that position. Meanwhile, the President's choice to head his Council on Jobs and Competitiveness - General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt - heads a corporation that "despite $14.2 billion in worldwide profits - including more than $5 billion from U.S. operations - did not owe taxes in 2010.

Sounds like your typical libertarian rant to me full with the over the top rhetoric about radical Marxist. Obama is a Fabian .Actually he is a fusion of both international and national socialism .He picks winners and losers in the market place. He has no problem vilifying some oligarchs while embracing others .

The Koch Bro's are libertarians. The left is in a snit because they gave Gov. Walker a piddling $43,000 . But in the last decade they gave $20 million in an attempt to repeal the Patriot Act. Heck they gave Andrew Cuomo $87,000.But you don't see the libs in a snit over that ,even though Cuomo is making hard choices about NY pension obligations and budget.

The Koch Bro's support gay marriage, drug legalization, opposed the Iraq War, favor cutting military spending.They should be the libs ideal .

But say something against Obama ,or favor fiscal sanity in Wisconsin ,and they've crossed the Rubicon.

I want to see Glen Greenwald write about how GE got away without paying any taxes . The President awarded Immelt by giving him a key economic seat on the President's inner circle... or how George Soros has undermined the US and world economy.
