Help getting stuck bathtub faucet off
I'm assuming that my bathtub faucet is the twist off kind because I don't see any screws. Also it does turn. It turns and turns and turns and never gets any looser. The pipe is not turning either so we think it is striped. Any suggestions. We really want to get it off there.

I am talking about the spout in my bathtub. I have already watched the ehow videos. It turns but doesn't come off. There is no screw. I turned it upside down and looked at it with a flashlight.

You gave us the wrong term, faucet, so now we are back on track with spout. Spouts come in 2 styles slip-on with set screw and threaded. If it turns and there is no set screw then turn it counterclockwise about 10 full rotations. Come back when you are done

I'm trying to fix a leaky hot water handle on my bathtub. I can get the handle off, but I cannot get the trim off. It is supposed to just unscrew... but I also cannot get a good grip on it as it has sort of slanted 'edges' that go down to where it connects to the stem assembly. I tried spraying...
