    Stuck bathtub stopper
    I had a backed up sewer problem, the plumber just cleaned the drains, now the stopper in the bathtub won't go up to hold the water in the tub??

    What kind of stopper are we talking about here (click on images)?

    Did the plumber touch this device? If so then he should fix it.

When taking a bath; the bath stopper keeps getting pushed back up, draining the water, --- the stopper is a 1 1/2" rubber stopper (not the mechanical kind) Is this considered back pressure? If so, how can I correct it? Thanks in advance

The plunger in the bathtub drain is stuck partially closed. Took of lever cover and can't budge the chain to the plunger. Any ideas on what to put down there or what to try to free up this plunger?
